A coffee date at the Starbucks on Gordon & Clair, turned out to be a Hinge success story! Finally, swiping ‘right’ resulted in something truly meaningful. They talked for hours, completely losing track of time until the barista had to kick them out at closing. It was a fun start, and it felt right- like they’d known each other forever.
That night marked the beginning of something special.

It didn’t take long for Peter and Stefanie to realize they had found ‘The One’. After years of searching for the right person, they finally met- and it felt like everything fell into place.
To this day, Peter still surprises Stefanie with weekend Starbucks runs, a little nod to where it all started.

Stefanie’s pets- Dealer the horse and Fairy the rabbit- are her whole world. Peter didn’t just win her over; he won them over too. With patience and plenty of treats (grass for Dealer, extra pellets for Fairy), he earned their trust.
Watching him care for them made Stefanie fall even harder.
Building more than a relationship

Peter had always wanted to start a web development company, and when Stefanie came into his life, she didn’t just support the idea- she jumped in with both feet! Stefanie took on web design and development, while Peter handled the business side, diving into SEO and PPC. Working through the ups and downs together only made them stronger.
For Peter, it was proof he had found not just a partner in love, but in life.

Peter finally popped the question! Before their vacation, Stefanie jokingly asked if he planned to propose in Florida. Peter, with a grin, responded, ‘No way, I’m going to Florida to relax!’ But behind the scenes, he was busy: picking out the ring, getting her parent’s blessing, and planning the perfect moment.
On their last day, he took her to their favourite beach at sunset and got down on one knee. On Bean Point Beach, Peter asked Stefanie to spend forever with him. The surprise left her so speechless that it took a moment before she finally said, ‘Of course!’

Instead of a puppy, Stefanie’s parents rescued a wild rabbit. They called Stefanie in a panic one day when the couple was out on the golf course. Silvia frantically explained that the wildlife rehab centre was too busy to take on another rabbit. Stefanie ran to the rescue, and bottle-fed him for a month. Then spent hours foraging for food in the garden and the forest. They also named him Lucky and he became part of the family.
Eventually, they released him back into the wild, where he would be happiest. But Lucky had other plans. He made his home under their deck, leaving tiny footprints in the snow and popping by for visits to remind them that he was still here.
