Our Love Story
Peter and Stefanie first met up at Starbucks on February 10, 2023, for what was supposed to be a quick coffee date. Instead, they hit it off, lost track of time chatting about everything and nothing, and ended up getting the boot when the staff said it was closing time. It was an exciting, fun start—and a sign they’d never run out of things to say. What followed was a long-distance stretch between Caledon and London, but the late-night talks and weekend visits made it work.
What kept them going was how easy it felt to be themselves together. They connected over the big things—wanting a family, dreaming up a business—and the small things, like laughing at the same dumb jokes or splitting the last cupcake. They weren’t just in love; they were a team, ready to take on whatever came next. Months of planning and building something together only made that clearer. In November 2023, they jetted off to Florida for a break, soaking up the sun, spotting alligators, and casually eyeing engagement rings.
By July 2024, they were back for more—a week of pool dips, beach walks, Bridgerton binges, and raiding the WholeFoods cookie stash. It was pure bliss. On the last day, Peter led Stefanie to Bean Point Beach on Anna Maria Island. As the sunset painted the sky, he proposed, and on July 12, 2024, they said yes to a lifetime of this—together.
And so the wedding planning began…
